Members of the WVU Parkersburg Student Government will be partnering with the Parkersburg Tree Commission to help clean up Market Street and trim trees in need of attention on Friday March 30th. Participants in the morning shift will be cleaning up trash from 8:00-12:00 and volunteers in the afternoon time slot will be assisting the City Arborist in trimming and pruning trees located in the downtown area. This project is a continuation of the Student Government's Community Service Series.

Student Government Elections

Student Government Elections for the Fall 2012-Spring 2013 school year will be held on April 16-18 on your OLSIS account. Any full-time WVU Parkersburg student with a 2.25 G.P.A. can run for a Senate position. Those with a 2.5 G.P.A. may run for a Cabinet spot and students with a 3.0 G.P.A. and one semester as a Senator may run for an Executive Cabinet position. Candidacy forms may be picked up from the SGA office and must be returned prior to Wednesday, April 11th.
